Derick serves as Gradian’s Technical Services Manager, overseeing all technical operations such as service strategy and support, installations, preventive maintenance, field repairs, technical training, spare parts inventory management, and service data management. Based at our Kenya office, Derick collaborates closely with Gradian-certified field technicians worldwide.

Derick has been with Gradian since 2013, initially joining as an independent biomedical engineering consultant. Before joining Gradian, he gained experience in Uganda, working as a hospital technician at International Hospital Kampala, a field service engineer at Faram EA Africa-Uganda, and a biomedical engineering consultant at Critical Care Solutions Uganda.

His qualifications include a diploma in biomedical engineering from the Technical University of Mombasa, a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from IST University, Burkina Faso, and a Master’s of Science in Management and Organizational Development from the United States International University – Africa.
