Ndebea

Dr. Ansbert S. Ndebea is an anesthesiologist specializing in pediatric anesthesia, simulation trainings, and pain management.

He received his medical degree at MUHAS and MMED in Anesthesiology from KCMUCo and completed a fellowship in pain management (FIPM) at Virinchi Hospital in Hyderabad, India.

Dr. Ndebea has been a clinical trainer for Gradian for five years and is our clinical lead for our Tanzania trainings. He has been an integral part of designing training materials for all of Gradian’s products as well as developing the curriculum for the simulation-based training programs.

He is currently working as the Director of Medical Operations at STATE AVIATION, a new helicopter company in Tanzania with a vision of transforming the non-scheduled charter industry in Tanzania. In addition, Dr. Ndebea is practicing anesthesia at SALI International Hospitals in Dar Es Salaam and is an honorary lecturer at MUHAS in the department of Anesthesia.

Dr. Ndebea is the official SATA representative for CANECSA (College of Anesthesiologists for ECSA). Through this work, he has led the design and implementation of national capacity building programs for anesthesia and critical care providers – training trainers, mentoring staff, developing curricula and delivering coaching for hundreds of health providers at dozens of facilities across the country.
